"Amey" literally means "father" but can also mean "parent" (especially if used with a plural marker).
"Naanak" strictly means to have become a person, but English doesn't seem to have a word for that. This is considered to be at birth, rather than at conception.

A "duheng" is a large fish trap which effectively dams the full width of the river. There are a number of bamboo canals which the water is diverted through. The fish fall on the bamboo floor of the canal as the water rushes through and simply have to be picked up. Because of the massive size of the structure, the fish trap is a community project. Datu Umising lead the people of Panganan to construct one in 1990, but it only lasted a couple of months before being destroyed by a flood.
